Work responsibilities
Working within our team, this position will be involved in :
- Packaging of products to conform with all specifications.
- Cleaning of machinery between product lines
- Assisting supervisors in various tasks moving of finished pallets, wrapping pallets
- Maintaining quality checks through the shift
- Following all safety procedures
Required Skills and characteristics
- Applicants should have good dexterity and be able to lift cartons up to 20kg
- Be comfortable working with others as a team
- Understand safety and how to work around machinery
- Ability to focus on detail to ensure all products are produced as required
- Should have excellent communications skills to with other staff and supervisors
Working Conditions
- Our company operates 2 shifts and applicants may be required to work on either shift
- The shifts are days 6am-3pm M-T and 6am-12pm F or afternoons 2:30pm-1 am M-T
- We work with products that have safety requirements. All staff will be trained on concerns to watch for, safety equipment and PPE proper use.
