Piper Arms is looking for friendly, attentive Servers to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Accurately enter orders using POS systems (Micros experience is a plus) and communicate effectively with the kitchen
- Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring presentation and quality standards are met
- Process payments accurately, including handling cash and operating cashiering systems
- Proactively upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and support restaurant sales
- Follow all food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols in line with health regulations
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations throughout shifts
- Support kitchen and service team members as needed, including basic food prep when required
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during peak hours
- Address guest questions and concerns promptly to ensure complete satisfaction
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred but not required—training is available for motivated individuals
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros, is an asset
- Strong customer service skills with a genuine focus on hospitality
- Basic math skills for handling cash and processing transactions
- Understanding of food safety, sanitation standards, and safe food handling practices
- Ability to multitask and stay composed in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude, strong teamwork, and attention to detail
