Job Summary
As part of our Rental and Repair team, you play a key role in getting guests safely and comfortably onto the slopes. You’ll assist with fitting skis, snowboards, boots, poles, and helmets while delivering an efficient and friendly rental experience. You may also support our repair shop with tuning, maintenance, and guest equipment services. Whether you’re helping a first-time skier or a seasoned shredder, your attention to detail and customer care directly impacts the guest experience. Job Responsibilities
Rental Shop Duties:
- Greet guests in a welcoming and enthusiastic manner
- Assist guests with completing rental forms accurately
- Fit boots and size equipment (skis/snowboards/poles/helmets) correctly for safety and comfort
- Set bindings safely based on guest details
- Provide resort and equipment information confidently
- Process rental payments and check-in/out procedures
- Inspect returned gear for damage or excessive wear
- Prepare rental packages for group bookings
- Maintain cleanliness and proper storage of all rental gear
- Clear snow from pathways and entryways as needed
- Cross-train and assist in other departments on slower days
- Follow all safety protocols and SMR procedures
Repair Shop Duties:
- Greet guests and assess repair needs
- Clearly communicate estimated timelines and costs before accepting work
- Ensure guests complete and sign the repair form and waiver
- Complete repairs efficiently and thoroughly
- Conduct routine safety tests on rental gear
- Keep the workshop clean, organized, and equipment properly stored
Job Requirements
No prior experience required—training provided- Experience with equipment repair and tuning is an asset
- Able to work both indoors and outdoors in various weather
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and be on your feet for long periods
- Strong communication and multitasking skills
- Able to work weekends and holidays as required
- Willingness to support other departments when needed
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
- Friendly, calm, and professional under pressure
- Adaptable and team-oriented with problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working in a family-focused resort with guests of all ages
- Contributes to snow removal and cross-department support when required
