The Superintendent will be responsible for representing the company on the job site and ensuring that the project is brought from concept to reality. This includes planning and scheduling, organizing, directing and controlling activities on the construction site. This position requires travel from Monday to Thursday, with you returning home either Thursday afternoon or Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and ensure quality control of job sites.
- Collaborate with project managers, subtrades and labourers to ensure project success.
- Follow building codes and safety regulations on all job sites.
- Provide site leadership and ensure all projects are built according to plans.
- Maintain daily safety records tracking hazards, progress, inspections, and other relevant information.
- Potentially supervise multiple projects simultaneously.
- Perform carpentry, general labour and other duties as needed.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of construction experience with at least 3 years of experience in a foreman or superintendent position.
- Strong expertise in reading, interpreting and understanding construction blueprints.
- Experience working in commercial or industrial co snstruction is required.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Construction safety training such as CSTS, First Aid, WHMIS 2015, and other safety training is required.
- Knowledge of safety requirements, building codes and industry regulations.
- Ability to motivate and manage workers of all levels.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Carpentry skills and experience using small tools.
- Ability to perform physical labour.
- Proficient computer skills and experience using various applications such as Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam and AutoCAD are considered assets.

Pay: $100,000.00-$140,000.00 per year
