We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Café/Kitchen Staff member to join our team. As a part of our team, you will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, preparing beverages, and helping maintain a clean, organized, and friendly café environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including teas, coffee, Food Items and snacks
- Greet customers with a warm, friendly attitude
- Take orders and process payments accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the café, including tables, counters, and kitchen area
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations to customers regarding menu items
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, or special requests with a positive and problem-solving attitude
- Assist with inventory management, ensuring stock levels are maintained
- Ensure food safety and cleanliness standards are met
- Work collaboratively with the team to maintain a positive café environment
- Requirements:
- Previous experience in a barista or café role is an asset but not required
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Food safe level 1 (Can be provided after hiring)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for customer service and a positive attitude
- Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Must be eligible to work in Canada (valid work permit)
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.25-$20.00 per hour
