Owner Operator Driver

Founded in 1941 as a local, same-day parcel pick-up and delivery service, Speedy Transport has grown to become one of central Canada's premier carriers. Today, we operate sophisticated transport services from terminals from Windsor-Quebec City and beyond, with a fleet of over 500+ trucks, and 500+ employees operating out of ten terminals.
Job Description:
- Perform deliveries to customers on time.
- Ensure the delivery of our products is safe and environmentally friendly.
- Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate the truck.
- Drive safely and in accordance with company rules and safety policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- This position is full-time, year-round work (year-round).
- Work is performed at the field location and on-site at customer’s facility.
- Must be able to work at heights up to 50 feet in a factory environment.
- Work is typically performed on a “walk-in” basis; however, deliveries may require standing for up to 8 hours.
- Work is typically performed during daytime hours; however, evening and weekend work may be required.
- Must have access to a driver’s license and a clean driving record with no more than 3 points on their driving record without having any points on their driver licensing record.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test(s).
