Life Models work in the classroom and studios, collaborating with faculty to provide students with examples of the human form for lessons and assignments. Life Models take a variety of poses, nude and/or costumed, as needed to meet learning outcomes.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Life Modeling for classes and various supplementary programs for students and public participants.
- Providing poses for gestures as short as 30 seconds to sustained poses that last several hours, over several sessions (with regular breaks); posing nude and/or clothed and occasionally work alongside other models;
- Meeting with faculty at the beginning of each class to discuss set-ups and pose needs; interpreting these instructions and gathering props, garments and linens as needed to meet the class objectives;
- Working collaboratively and responsively with instructors/faculty to accurately demonstrate the key concepts of the curriculum;
- Interacting with props including holding, lifting, pushing and pulling;
- Managing times and types of poses to support the needs of the students in every session;
- Performing other related duties as assigned.

You are technologically literate and possess exceptional time management and communication skills.
The successful candidate will also meet the following requirements:
- 2 years of experience as a life model is preferred;
- Experience working in an Artist studio or Academic studio environment is preferred;
- Formal Education or equivalate work experience in the fields of Fine Arts, Dance, or Acting would be considered an asset.
