Position Summary
The Business Development Manager will support business growth activities by identifying opportunities, developing client relationships, and coordinating commercial initiatives. This role focuses on expanding market presence, maintaining business relationships, and supporting the company’s development objectives. The position can be performed remotely from home, allowing employees to manage business development activities, client communications, and commercial projects through digital tools while maintaining effective collaboration with internal teams and business partners.
Responsibilities
- Develop business opportunities by identifying potential clients and market segments.
- Maintain relationships with existing clients and business contacts through online communication channels and virtual meetings.
- Coordinate commercial activities to support business development goals.
- Analyse market information to identify trends and potential opportunities.
- Prepare business proposals, reports, presentations, and commercial documentation using digital platforms.
- Manage client communications throughout the business development process.
- Support the implementation of business development strategies and initiatives in a remote work environment.
- Monitor business activity and provide updates on progress and results.
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders through virtual meetings and collaboration tools to support client requirements and commercial projects.
Requirements
- Experience in business development, sales, account management, or a related commercial role.
- Knowledge of client relationship management and business development processes.
- Ability to analyse market information and identify business opportunities.
- Strong communication skills for professional client interactions in both virtual and direct environments.
- Ability to prepare business documents, reports, and presentations.
- Organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple commercial activities independently.
- Ability to work effectively from a home office while maintaining productivity and communication with clients and internal teams.
- Knowledge of the insurance sector or related financial services is an asset.
- Reliable internet connection and proficiency with digital communication and collaboration tools.
Pay: $120,000.00-$125,000.00 per year
