Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Restaurant Team Members to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, preparing food, and ensuring a clean and safe environment for both guests and staff. Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided to ensure success in this role.
Duties
- Prepare and assemble food items according to restaurant standards and recipes
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
- Greet customers promptly and provide friendly, attentive service
- Take orders accurately, upsell menu items, and handle transactions efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all food preparation and service areas
- Ensure food safety protocols are followed at all times
- Assist with food handling, serving, and refilling supplies as needed
- Manage time effectively to serve customers quickly during busy periods
- Support kitchen staff with basic food prep when necessary
- Uphold restaurant policies on sanitation, safety, and customer service excellence
Skills
- Experience in food service or the food industry preferred; kitchen experience is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change accurately
- Excellent time management to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and sanitation standards
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication skills for teamwork and customer interaction
- Upselling skills to enhance guest experience and increase sales
