Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
- Operate POS systems for sales transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Provide product knowledge on related merchandise
- Maintain the visual presentation of the store through effective merchandising and organization
- Support inventory management by stocking shelves and organizing displays
- Assist with e-commerce orders and ensure timely processing of online sales
- Offer multilingual support to accommodate diverse customer needs (if applicable)
- Handle customer inquiries professionally, providing solutions to enhance their shopping experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor to ensure a welcoming environment
Skills
- Proficiency with POS systems and cash handling procedures
- Strong customer service and communication skills in English (multilingual abilities are a plus)
- Knowledge of gardening, horticulture, landscape maintenance, and related products
- Experience in retail sales, merchandising, and cashiering preferred
- Organizational skills to manage inventory and maintain store presentation
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms is advantageous
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on teamwork and collaboration
Pay: $18.25-$20.85 per hour
