Job Summary
Fun 2 Bee Early Learning Center is looking for a dependable and enthusiastic Full-Time Cook to prepare healthy meals and snacks for children in our care. We are seeking someone who enjoys cooking, is organized, and takes pride in maintaining a clean and safe kitchen. Experience is an asset, but we are also willing to train the right candidate who is eager to learn.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve nutritious breakfasts, lunches, and snacks.
- Follow menu plans and accommodate food allergies or dietary needs.
- Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and sanitized.
- Practice safe food handling and proper food storage.
- Monitor food supplies and assist with inventory and ordering.
- Wash dishes and maintain kitchen equipment.
- Work as part of our team to ensure meals are served on schedule.
- Perform other kitchen-related duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Experience cooking is an asset, but we are willing to train the right person who is eager to learn.
- Ability to work independently and stay organized.
- Reliable, responsible, and punctual.
- Enjoys working in a childcare environment.
- Food Safe Certification is an asset (or willingness to obtain).
Pay: From $15.35 per hour
