Hello. It’s nice to meet you.
If you’re looking for a challenge, you’ve come to the right place, because no matter who you are or where you come from, we’re all building something. Every single one of us. Whether it’s a home, a career, a family or a future, we’re all searching for growth. This is our story too. For more than 45 years, we’ve built the All Weather Group into the largest privately owned and operated window, door and glass manufacturer in the country. But in some ways, we’re just getting started. So, if you’re driven to make an impact and bring your best to our tight-knit, people-first culture, we want to hear from you.
Are you ready for this?
We’re a diverse team that comes from many different backgrounds, and together, we make things happen. Your attention to detail and commitment help us deliver on our promise every day
We’re currently hiring a Warehouse Technician I to join our Winnipeg Shipping team.
This is a great opportunity to start or grow your career in warehousing. If you enjoy staying active, take pride in being organized, and like working as part of a team that keeps things moving, this could be the role for you.
As a Warehouse Technician I, you'll help ensure materials, inventory and customer orders move safely and efficiently through our warehouse. From receiving and stocking products to picking orders and maintaining inventory accuracy, every day brings something different—and every task plays an important role in delivering quality products to our customers.
In this role, you will:
- Put safety first by following health and safety policies, identifying potential hazards, and helping maintain a safe workplace for everyone.
- Keep products moving by receiving, unloading, stocking, picking and shipping materials accurately and on time.
- Support inventory accuracy by organizing warehouse locations, completing inventory transactions, and participating in cycle counts and annual physical inventories.
- Take pride in your workspace by keeping warehouse, shipping and receiving areas clean, organized and ready for the next job.
- Help keep our site safe year-round by maintaining walkways, including snow removal and applying ice melt when needed.
- Solve problems as they arise by investigating shipment discrepancies, documenting issues, and helping ensure products are received and shipped correctly.
- Pitch in where needed because great teams do what it takes to keep operations running smoothly.
Are you built for this?
We hire as much for attitude as experience because who you are matters just as much as what you know. This is an entry-level role with opportunities to learn, develop new skills, and grow your career with All Weather.
We're looking for someone who:
- Has a High School Diploma.
- Enjoys hands-on, active work and is comfortable spending the day on their feet, moving throughout the warehouse and regularly lifting and moving materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Takes pride in being reliable, organized and paying attention to detail.
- Communicates well and enjoys working with others to get the job done.
- Is comfortable learning new technology; experience with computers or ERP systems is an asset.
- Has warehouse experience (preferred but not required—we're happy to train the right person).
- Brings experience in manufacturing, building products, or parts management (considered an asset).
Let’s get after it.
Every day at All Weather is an opportunity to roll up your sleeves and move one step closer to your goals. What’s in it for you?
Our story
It all began in 1978 in Edmonton, Alberta when a farmer, a salesman and a railroader created All Weather Windows. More than 45-years later, we’ve grown into a group of companies still proudly serving residential and commercial customers across Western Canada. We make premium products right here on home soil, designed and tested for Canada's harshest weather conditions, delivered with the promise of performance and style. Our purpose to Never Stop Building is a testament to the character of our people, because we’re always striving and always looking for fellow “builders”, just like you. Diverse by design.
From day one, diversity has been our greatest source of strength. Today, we’re a company where 55 languages are proudly spoken, with the skill of an international community reflected in all of our products and services. We have people who’ve been with us for generations and we’re an open door to new comers, first timers and everyone in-between. We’re continuously working to build and promote an inclusive environment that attracts, celebrates and promotes diversity, equity and inclusion by every definition. Where everyone can bring their best and full selves to work, because what makes you different, makes all the difference to us.
The ability to make an impact.
The All Weather Group is a place where potential finds opportunity, leadership truly listens and the ability to make an impact has nothing to do with your title. We know none of us are better, smarter or stronger than all of us. So, we invite people at all levels of the organization to speak up, chip in and put ideas into action to help shape our work, careers and company.
A culture of connection and care.
People are the beating heart of our tight-knit community, so their growth is an important way we live up to our purpose, to never stop building. We view wellness as being about the whole person and have designed our programs to support physical, emotional, spiritual and social wellbeing at work and in our lives outside of All Weather.
We make a difference.
We’re honoured to have been recognized as one of Canada's Best Managed Companies 14 years in a row. But, we also know that we’re far from perfect. We’re committed to positively impacting careers, lives and communities across Canada and proudly give back in four key areas; strengthening families, providing shelter, supporting education and, health and wellness. Over the years this has included charitable giving, partnerships, employee volunteerism and supporting families in need, but one thing never changes – we show up for the moments that matter. If you’re passionate about creating a positive impact too, we need your voice to help grow this proud cultural tradition, because our work here is never done.
