Nova Inn Wabasca is looking to hire a Head Chef to manage our kitchen and resturaunt. The head chef attracts and retains staff, maintains a cooperative relationship with team members, optimizes staff productivity, and serves as a replacement in team members' absence.
Train staff to use new recipes, cooking techniques and equipment, and oversee cooks performing food preparation. Oversee the delivery of food supplies, prepare special dishes, and supervise overall kitchen operations during banquets and dinner service. Over see restaurant service and ordering.
Ensures all OHS and food heath regulations are followed thru out kitchen at all times. Responsible for staff scheduling, documentary of food inventory and costs. Ability to use excel, word, files and email.
To ensure success, ensure the team delivers high-quality, cost-effective dishes promptly. Top candidates are creative, service-oriented, and level-headed. must possess up to date food safe certificate, culinary or red seal certificate.
