The Role:
We are looking for a Sales Associate to join our team! This is an exciting opportunity to grow your career in the home improvement and building materials industry while working in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment. As a Sales Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring every customer finds exactly what they need for their project, from start to finish.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assist walk-in and inbound customers (phone/email) with product selection and order inquiries
- Build lasting relationships with contractors, builders, and homeowners through helpful and knowledgeable service
- Prepare and follow up on quotes to drive sales and close orders
- Process orders accurately and coordinate with the warehouse for pickups and deliveries
- Resolve customer concerns quickly, professionally, and in a positive manner
- Stay current on product inventory, new arrivals, and industry trends
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-merchandised showroom floor
Skills/Experience/Knowledge:
- Proven experience in sales is required
- Background in renovation, construction, or building materials is required
- Must be able to reliably commute to our location
- Excellent communication skills across phone, email, and in person
- Strong problem-solving ability with a calm and professional approach
- Highly organized, able to multitask and work well under pressure
- Self-motivated with a positive, customer-first attitude
