Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting drinks, engaging with customers, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers in accordance with established recipes and standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking drink orders, and responding to inquiries.
- Maintain cleanliness while performing Cleaning duties and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system while ensuring proper food handling and safety protocols are followed.
- Monitor customer consumption of alcohol and adhere to responsible serving guidelines.
- Assist in managing inventory levels by tracking supplies and reporting shortages as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable.
Experience
- Previous experience in bartending or a related role within the food industry is preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems for processing transactions efficiently.
- Strong knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a friendly atmosphere for guests.
- Basic math skills for handling cash and calculating drink orders accurately.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail.
