seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Administrative & Operations Assistant to support ownership with daily business operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys organization, administration, spreadsheets, document management, and helping a growing business run efficiently.
The successful candidate will play a key role in keeping our operations organized, supporting management, improving systems, and ensuring important business information is maintained accurately.
Responsibilities
- Manage company emails and correspondence
- Organize and maintain digital and physical filing systems
- Create, update, and maintain Excel spreadsheets and reports
- Assist with payroll administration and employee documentation
- Prepare reports and track business performance data
- Maintain organized business records and documentation
- Schedule meetings, appointments, and follow-up tasks
- Assist with onboarding paperwork and HR administration
- Coordinate document signing and record retention
- Support bookkeeping and administrative functions
- Track invoices, expenses, and operational reports
- Assist ownership with special projects and business organization initiatives
- Help implement systems and processes to improve efficiency
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive business information
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of administrative or office experience preferred
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Google Workspace
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Professional, reliable, and self-motivated
- Experience with payroll, bookkeeping, or QuickBooks is considered an asset
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Compensation: $20.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Day shift
Pay: $16.68-$20.00 per hour
