THE ROLE
Cultivation Workers are responsible for supporting all stages of plant growth. This includes cloning, trimming, transplanting, and harvesting cannabis plants. The ideal candidate is a team player with a strong work ethic and willingness to roll up their sleeves in a fast-paced, physically demanding setting.
Daily tasks involve hands-on plant care, cleaning and sanitation, and working in varied environmental conditions from cool harvest areas to warm, humid greenhouses. Embracing change and focusing on solutions is key as the company continues to evolve and grow.
REQUIREMENTS
- Clear Criminal Background Check
- Able to push, pull, or lift up to 50lbs
- Capable of standing, walking, or sitting for extended periods
- Clean shaven and able to wear a respirator
- Familiarity with basic hand tools
WHAT WE OFFER
- $17/hour + 4% vacation pay
- Weekly pay through direct deposit
- Occupational Health & Safety training
- Regular Hours: 6:30am – 3:00pm Monday to Friday, until July 24th
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Indoor commercial cannabis production facility
- Harvest Area: loud machinery, cool temperatures (~17°C)
- Greenhouse: high heat and humidity (30°C+ / 55%+), bright LED lighting
- Exposure to strong scent of fresh cannabis
