Job Title: Service Advisor Writer

Overview:
Join the fast-paced team at Ralph's Motorsports as a Service Writer! We're looking for an experienced, customer-focused professional to be the link between our customers and service technicians. You'll coordinate repairs, maintenance, inspections, warranty claims, scheduling, and repair orders while ensuring every customer receives outstanding service and communication throughout their experience. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Service Orders: Schedule and assign repairs to techs based on their skills, and create detailed repair orders (ROs).
- Customer Liaison: Check in customers for service. Communicate with customers about vehicle status, estimate repairs, and process payments. Act as a customer advisor and representative. Do a walk around with the customer addressing any concerns and questions, and take pictures.
- Parts & Warranty: Coordinate parts ordering and returns with the parts department, and handle warranty claims as needed.
- Support Service Team: Work with the managers to promote services and increase sales. Maintain customer service records and follow up on upcoming service needs.
What We’re Looking For:
- Highly organized and able to juggle multiple tasks.
- Experience working in a service environment is required
- Strong customer service skills – you’re the face of our service department.
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and explain complex details clearly.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with a knack for problem-solving.
- Explain and communicate repair processes, technicalities, solutions, and estimates to customers
- Actively engage with external customers, reminding them of recommended service schedules, safety and service bulletins and potential upgrades for their vehicle
- Create and maintain detailed records of customer approved and denied work, recommended work, customer satisfaction rates, and sales efforts
- Monitor the efficiencies of the Service Department, and actively look for areas of improvement and appropriate implementable solutions.
- Be adaptable to growth, and duties as required for success.
Experience & Skills:
- Experience in service and/or customer service roles is necessary.
- Previous service, motorsports, or auto shop experience is a bonus and preferred.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Required to have a strong technical background
- General knowledge of Motorcycles, ATV’s, and motorsports vehicles and or small engines expected
Work Environment:
- Mostly office-based, but you’ll be on your feet about 30-40% of the day.
- You’ll work in a lively, fast-paced environment with noise, strong smells, and dust. Be prepared to lift and clean occasionally.
- Safety is key – you’ll follow safety guidelines and handle chemicals as needed.
- Play an important role in the Ralph’s Motorsports customer retention management strategy

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24-$30 Hourly dependent on experience
Bonus: Quarterly Department Bonus after 3 months
Shift: Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm, Thursday 8:00am to 7:00pm, Saturday 9:00am to 4:00pm. Occasionally Mondays may be schedule. Company 4 day closures for long weekends.
