Overview
IZA Design and Manufacturing is seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our manufacturing team. This role involves assembling complex mechanical components and systems, ensuring precision and quality in every project. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background, proficiency with various tools, and experience reading schematics and blueprints. Responsibilities
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment to assemble parts according to specifications
- Use calipers and other measurement tools to ensure precise fitting and alignment of components
- Read and understand blueprints related to for assembly instructions and assembly processes
- Position, align and adjust parts for proper fit and function, including fastening, bolting and riveting
- Resolves assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications
- Cleans and maintains work area and equipment, including tools
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Follow company safety standards and use the proper PPE required for the position.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve assembly processes.
Skills Required:
- Prior experience in manufacturing or warehouse environments is preferred.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and mechanical assembly techniques
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, calipers, and machining processes
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow technical instructions accurately.
- Previous experience in welding or machining adds value but is not required; training will be provided where necessary

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
