Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and mechanically inclined Inventory / Parts Dismantler to join our team. This role involves disassembling various mechanical components and managing inventory efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical systems and be comfortable using hand tools and power tools to safely dismantle parts. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where precision and safety are paramount.
Duties
- Disassemble mechanical parts and equipment using hand tools and power tools
- Able to change and balance tires
- Ensure all dismantling is performed safely, following established procedures
- Inspect and test parts for wear, damage, or defects during disassembly
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency
- Assist with inventory counts and documentation of dismantled parts
- Follow safety protocols at all times during dismantling processes
Qualifications
- Basic mechanical knowledge or experience preferred
- Proficiency with hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, etc.
- Experience with power tools is a plus but not required; training will be provided if needed
- Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work independently when required
- Prior experience in dismantling or similar roles is advantageous but not mandatory
