Supermarket Bar is one of Toronto’s most recognized live music and nightlife venues, located in the heart of Kensington Market. We host a mix of live bands, DJs, and dance nights, and we’re looking for a Freelance Venue Booker to help expand our weekly programming.
About the Role:
We’re seeking a well-connected, creative, and organized individual to curate and coordinate events that fit Supermarket’s live music and DJ-driven vibe. You’ll have the freedom to program your own nights while collaborating with our management and marketing teams to build the venue’s overall calendar.
Responsibilities:
- Book and schedule live bands, DJs, and promoters for regular and special events.
- Maintain strong relationships with artists, agencies, and collectives.
- Negotiate fair deals that align with event budgets and bar revenue goals.
- Coordinate logistics with venue management and tech staff.
- Collaborate on marketing and promo efforts to maximize attendance.
