Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Kitchen Cabinet Assembler and Installer to join our team. This role involves assembling custom kitchen cabinets and installing them efficiently and accurately in residential and commercial settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry, woodworking, and construction, with the ability to interpret schematics and blueprints. Attention to detail, safety awareness, and proficiency with hand tools and power tools are essential for success in this position.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure precise assembly and installation of kitchen cabinets
- Assemble cabinets using hand tools, power tools, and other equipment according to specifications
- Install cabinets securely on walls, ensuring proper alignment and finish quality
- Measure spaces accurately to determine cabinet placement and modifications needed
- Perform related tasks such as caulking, sealing, and finishing work to ensure a professional appearance
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to meet project deadlines and specifications
- Maintain a clean work area and adhere to safety protocols during all phases of assembly and installation
Experience
- Proven experience in cabinet assembly, installation, or related carpentry work
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and construction drawings
- Experience with woodworking, cabinetry, or furniture assembly is highly desirable
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment such as CNC machines is preferred
- Background in masonry, flooring installation, tile laying, roofing, or siding is a plus
- Prior experience in construction painting, plumbing, electrical work, or concrete forming can be advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to lift heavy materials safely and perform physically demanding tasks
- Knowledge of construction estimating or rebar installation is beneficial but not required
