Position Overview:
The Project Manger is the primary point person responsible for planning, executing and delivering projects on time, within budget and in accordance to specifications. The project manager will be required to oversee the project resources, manpower, planning from the bidding process, to final close out. The project Manager will achieve company objectives through effective hands-on communication with clients, work force, consultants, and sub trades while maintaining a balance between cost, time, quality control and safety. The project manager will be able to maintain confidentially and work within a fast-paced industry.
Responsibilities;
-Attend job sites to view scope, meet with clients and consultant’s to discuss details of Projects.
-Prepare bids quotes and RFP’s for projects.
-Schedule, cost tracking and quality assurance.
-Work with management team to complete estimates for residential, commercial and industrial projects.
Qualifications:
- Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and site conditions
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for asbestos abatement and demolition projects
- Conduct site visits to assess scope, hazards, and logistical requirements
- Identify labour, equipment, material, and disposal costs
- Ensure estimates align with Alberta OHS legislation and safe work practices
- Coordinate with project managers, supervisors, and clients
- Prepare and submit competitive bids within deadlines
- Maintain accurate records of estimates, take-offs, and pricing
- Assist with change orders, budgeting, and cost tracking as required
Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous estimating experience in asbestos abatement and demolition.
- Strong knowledge of Alberta OHS Code, Regulations, and industry standards
- Familiarity with hazardous materials (asbestos, lead, mold) is a strong asset
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
- Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Valid driver’s license and ability to attend site visits

Pay: $60,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
