Blondies Pizza is bringing its signature pizzas and high-energy vibe to Waterloo! Known for serving some of the most loved pizzas in Toronto, we’re excited to launch our new location and build an incredible team from the ground up!
Our team is currently looking to hire a small group of talented individuals to make pizza dreams come true. If you're energetic and have a passion for great food, this is the place for you! We value hard-working people who love to have fun at work, and who strive to make every guest's experience a memorable one.
Main Responsibilities:
- Learn and maintain excellent menu and product knowledge
- Follow recipes, portion controls and presentation specifications
- Clean food prep areas, equipment, utensils and strictly adhere to sanitation, food safety and hygiene guidelines
- Organize fridges and storage areas
- Communicate well with teammates in order to facilitate efficient service
- Bring a positive, cooperative and inquisitive attitude to the team
- Responsible for creating memorable guest experiences.
- Other duties or responsibilities as assigned or required
Requirements:
- Able to work in a fast-paced and busy environment
- Passion for food, service, and hospitality
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Able and willing to complete other restaurant functions (ie. cashier to help out on food production, and vice versa)
- Cooking experience is a strong asset, but not required
