Nimkee Nupigawagan Healing Centre is seeking an Indigenous Research, Evaluation & Continuous Quality Improvement Specialist to help us better understand, document, and share the impact of Indigenous-led healing. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to meaningful change by exploring not only whether healing occurs, but how it occurs through relationships, culture, ceremony, education, land-based learning, and community.
Reporting to the Executive Director, the successful candidate will work collaboratively with youth, families, Elders, Traditional Helpers, staff, communities, and external partners to gather, analyze, and interpret many forms of evidence. This includes quantitative data, participant feedback, interviews, sharing circles, observations, stories, photographs, creative works, and lived experiences.
Working from Indigenous worldviews and a Two-Eyed Seeing approach, the successful candidate will help weave together Indigenous knowledge systems with evidence-informed research and evaluation practices to better understand healing journeys and support continuous quality improvement across the organization.

The successful candidate will help ensure that research and evaluation processes remain culturally safe, trauma-informed, strengths-based, and respectful of Indigenous knowledge systems.
Beyond collecting data, this position is about telling the story of healing. The successful candidate will help preserve and communicate the experiences of youth and families through reports, presentations, case studies, impact stories, videos, infographics, photographs, and other forms of knowledge sharing that celebrate resilience, recovery, cultural identity, and hope.
