Overview
We’re hiring a dependable parti-time Line Cooks, with at least 3 years of experience, to join our year-round food truck–style cookhouse kitchen serving upscale pub-style food. The right candidate is efficient, organized, and comfortable working in a smaller space. This role is essential in ensuring that our kitchen operates efficiently and that our guests receive delicious meals prepared with care.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and execute pub-style menu items consistently and efficiently following recipes and build charts
- Work comfortably and safely in a small, fast-paced kitchen
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards
- Follow recipes, prep lists, and direction from kitchen leadership
- Handle prep, service, and closing duties with minimal supervision
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food storage practices.
- Participate in regular kitchen clean-up duties, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and ready for use.
- Communicate and work with other kitchen staff and front of house staff.
Requirements
- Previous line cook experience
- Reliable transportation
- Proven reliability and punctuality
- Availability for part-time hours, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays when required
- Able to stay focused and efficient during busy periods
