Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join the afternoon shift on our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC programming, mechanical knowledge, and experience with various machining processes. This role involves developing and optimizing CNC programs and operating respective machinery, ensuring precision and efficiency in production. The successful candidate will play a key part in maintaining high-quality standards and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within our manufacturing operations.
Duties
- Develop, test, and optimize CNC programs.
- Set up and operate CNC machinery ensuring adherence to specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment and troubleshoot issues related to machining processes.
- Use precision measuring tools such as calipers to verify dimensions and ensure parts meet quality standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical documentation to determine machining parameters.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and forklift trucks as needed for machine setup and material handling.
- Apply lean manufacturing principles to improve process efficiency and reduce waste.
- Assist with assembly tasks when required, supporting overall production flow.
Requirements
- Proven experience setting up and operating 5‑axis CNC milling machines.
- Experience with Elumatec and FOM equipment is an asset.
- Formal CNC programming training and hands‑on programming experience required.
- Knowledge of G‑Code and conversational programming is preferred.
- Ability to interpret shop drawings and perform fabrication‑related calculations.
- Experience with aluminum fabrication.
- Demonstrated strong work ethic and flexibility to work various shifts as required.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment and meeting production deadlines.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $25.00-$32.00 per hour

Experience:
- CNC Programming: 2 years (required)
- Aluminum Manufacturing: 2 years (preferred)
- 3 to 5 axis cnc milling machine : 1 year (required)
