Job Summary
The Dairy Queen Supervisor plays a vital role in overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety. This leadership position involves supervising staff, managing food preparation processes, and ensuring the smooth functioning of the restaurant to deliver a memorable dining experience. Responsibilities
- Supervise daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, serving, and cash handling
- Lead and motivate team members to deliver outstanding customer service
- Oversee food safety and sanitation standards in compliance with health regulations
- Manage POS systems such as Micros POS for transactions and reporting
- Conduct interviewing and onboarding of new staff members
- Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed during all stages of food service
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers as needed
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain satisfaction
- Train staff on food preparation, cooking techniques, and restaurant policies
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas
Skills
- Proven experience in food service, restaurant management, or hospitality roles
- Supervising experience with team management capabilities
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and food safety standards
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
- Ability to lead, motivate, and train staff effectively
- Experience in interviewing and hiring new employees
- Knowledge of kitchen operations, food handling procedures, and restaurant workflows
- Leadership qualities with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Previous hotel or barista experience is a plus but not required; hospitality background highly valued
Pay: $17.00-$18.25 per hour
