The Opportunity:
Tiltco Architectural is currently seeking an experienced Shipper/Receiver to join our team. This position requires a motivated, reliable, and detail-oriented individual who is comfortable working in a team environment and committed to delivering high-quality workmanship.
Job Description/Responsibilities:
Shipping
- Responsible for arranging and coordinating all outgoing & incoming shipments: Local, Equipment Transport and Courier
- Complete shipments: Communicate, Negotiate and Coordinate with carriers, site contacts, vendors, customs broker, Tiltco drivers or any party involved with a shipment
- Complete and submit required paperwork (customs invoices, packing slips, labels, and delivery notes etc.)
- Working with team members to ensure products are picked, packaged, labelled and shipped out accordingly
- Aid in the clearance of outgoing/incoming shipments when required
- Keep tracking log of outgoing and incoming shipments
Receiving
- Receive all incoming shipments, verifying contents and ensuring they match packing slips
- Inspecting incoming goods for damages, defects or other issues and report discrepancies to appropriate parties
- Working alongside inventory team to offload and organize
Requirements:
- Forklift Licence (Can renew through company)
- Knowledgeable with computers and Microsoft Office
- Organizational Skills
- Valid Drivers Licence
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00-$26.00 per hour
