Part-Time Physical Education & Fitness Teacher

Kuper Academy is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Physical Education & Fitness Teacher to join our High School team for the 2026–2027 school year.
The successful candidate will teach Cycle 2 High School students (Secondary III, IV, and V) and inspire students to develop healthy lifestyles through fitness, physical activity, teamwork, and sportsmanship. The candidate will also have the opportunity to contribute to our athletic program by coaching extracurricular sports teams and supporting student athletes.
Responsibilities:
- Teach engaging Physical Education and Fitness classes to High School Cycle 2 students.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and motivating learning environment.
- Develop students’ fitness skills, physical literacy, and appreciation for lifelong wellness.
- Evaluate student progress and provide meaningful feedback.
- Coach and supervise extracurricular sports teams, practices, and competitions.
- Promote teamwork, leadership, commitment, and school spirit.
- Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the school community.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Kinesiology, Education, or related field.
- Valid Quebec teaching permit (or eligibility to obtain one) is preferred.
- Experience teaching secondary-level Physical Education is an asset.
- Coaching experience with school sports teams is an asset.
- Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
- Passion for working with adolescents and promoting an active lifestyle.
