Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Workers, Team Lead & Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately packing and preparing orders for shipment, ensuring that all products are handled with care and efficiency. This role requires strong attention to detail. Fork Lift, shipping/receiving, and Leadership experience is helpful. This is a seasonal position, beginning as full time leading to possible part time.
Responsibilities
- Efficiently pick and pack orders according to customer specifications and company standards.
- Accurately provide quality assurance inspection.
- Forklift and pallet jack to transport goods within the warehouse an asset.
- Perform heavy lifting as required, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Build pallets of products for shipment, ensuring proper stacking and securing of items.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency within the warehouse environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in order picking or warehouse operations is preferred.
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Familiarity with food packing, quality assurance an asset.
- Ability to operate forklift and and pallet jack an asset.
- Must be able to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) regularly throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent time management and leadership skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Weekend availability is required.
