Job Responsibilities:

Manage full-cycle recruitment from requisition intake through offer acceptance and onboarding

Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs, workforce requirements, and role-specific criteria

Provide guidance and recommendations to hiring managers on recruitment strategies, timelines, and talent availability

Source candidates using job boards, applicant tracking systems, referrals, talent pools, career fairs, and proactive outreach

Conduct prescreen interviews, structured interviews, and reference checks

Prepare, post, and manage internal and external job postings

Support offer preparation and deliver employment offers in alignment with approved compensation and policies

Coordinate onboarding and pre-assignment requirements
-
Act as a point of contact for new hires during onboarding to ensure a smooth and positive experience

Maintain accurate, complete, and confidential candidate and employee records within the ATS/HRIS
-
Track and report recruitment metrics including hiring volumes, time-to-fill, attrition, and turnover reasons

Identify recruitment trends, challenges, and opportunities for process improvement

Ensure hiring and onboarding practices comply with employment legislation, privacy regulations, and corporate policies

Respond to candidate and employee inquiries in a timely, professional, and service-oriented manner

Support employee retention initiatives, including follow-ups and occasional site visits to engage field staff

Organize and participate in career fairs, hiring events, and recruitment campaigns

Assist with recruitment related HR administration including data entry, reporting, and document management

Support additional People & Culture initiatives and projects as required
Required Qualifications and Experience:
-
Prior experience in talent acquisition, recruitment, or Human Resources
-
Completion of a Human Resources diploma or equivalent from a recognized post-secondary institution

Hands-on experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and/or HR information systems (HRIS)

Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment

Legally authorized to work in Canada
