DZ Truck Driver
We are currently looking to hire Drivers.
Wage: $30.00+/hour
We are a Waste Management Company looking for efficient, dependable, reliable and hardworking individuals to join our growing company as a DZ & AZ Drivers.
APPLICANTS MUST PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING
- Drivers Abstract must be clear
- Ability to drive and operate Manual and Automatic Transmission vehicles including, but not limited to: Waste Water Trucks, Vacuum Trucks, Tri Axle Trucks, and Roll Off Trucks
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Vacuum load and unload non-hazardous and hazardous waste from customer sites and deliver to transfer stations;
- Assist in setup of hoses and equipment for daily operation;
- Perform daily maintenance and pre-trip inspections;
- Ensure that equipment is properly maintained, participate in preventative maintenance and note any defects for prompt repair;
- Maintain drivers log book, prepare daily collections reports and complete required shipping documents and other paperwork as required;
- Ensure that the material that is picked up is properly manifested and placarded;
- Be fully committed to the company safety program and maintain accurate hours of service records;
Minimum Qualifications Include:·
- Ontario AZ or DZ driver’s license with Air Brake Endorsement and clean drivers abstract;
- Preferred 3 years of driving experience;
- Ability to work well under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment;
- Strong and effective communication skills both verbally and written;
- Excellent customer service skills;
- Strong organizational skills and ability to plan tasks;
- Ability to work effectively with others and under minimal supervision;
- Ability to problem solves minor mechanical issues as they arise.
Pay: $28.00-$35.00 per hour
