We are looking for a lead carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate is highly experienced in deck construction, with the knowledge to address any construction related challenges that may occur on site.
Responsibilities:
- Primary responsibility is construction of custom decks and related structures (pergolas, awnings etc)
- Complete administration as required (material take-offs, progress reporting, job site photos etc).
- Maintain clean work site
- Practice a culture of safety
- Good customer relations
- Deal with building inspectors and permits as required
- Coordinate with subcontractors (ex helical pile installation, electrician etc)
- Contribute to positive to company culture.
Requirements:
- 5+ years carpentry experience
- Must be able to build complicated multi-level decks to code
- Must be able to construct miscellaneous custom features (pergolas, awnings, water proofing etc) as required
- Strong understanding of residential home construction
- G Class license
- Own Transportation
