Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, tea, and specialty beverages efficiently and accurately.
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling.
- Greet customers warmly, take their orders, and answer questions about menu items with enthusiasm.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including food preparation stations and serving counters.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including giving change and balancing registers at shift end.
- Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures to ensure quality and hygiene standards are met.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches or snacks when needed.
Requirements
- Previous barista experience or is required
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and order calculations.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, work in a fast-paced environment, and perform physical tasks such as lifting supplies or equipment.
