Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive Operations & Logistics Associate to support the day-to-day execution of our logistics and supply chain operations. This role will focus primarily on logistics coordination, shipment planning, inventory movement, and transportation follow-up, while also supporting broader operational workflows across warehousing, procurement, and order fulfillment.
The ideal candidate is organized, hands-on, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift quickly. This role requires strong coordination skills, clear communication with both internal teams and external partners, and the ability to help ensure products move accurately and efficiently through the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments, including inbound, outbound, transfers, and drop shipments
- Arrange and follow up on freight bookings with carriers, brokers, and logistics partners to ensure timely and cost-effective movement of goods
- Monitor shipment status, delivery schedules, and freight documentation, and proactively communicate delays or issues to internal stakeholders
- Support logistics planning for incoming containers, skids, parcel shipments, dealer orders, and warehouse transfers
- Work closely with warehouse, procurement, sales, and customer service teams to ensure smooth order flow and shipping execution
- Prepare, review, and maintain shipping documents, packing slips, bills of lading, and related logistics records
- Assist with inventory movement tracking between warehouse locations and help ensure ERP/WMS records are accurate and up to date
- Support coordination with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and transportation vendors for cross-border and domestic shipments
- Help manage relationships with shipping providers such as UPS, FedEx, LTL carriers, and other transportation partners
- Investigate shipment discrepancies, delivery issues, damages, and freight claims, and follow through on resolution
- Support warehouse and operations teams with receiving, order coordination, and product flow planning when needed
- Assist in monitoring logistics costs, shipping performance, and operational KPIs to identify areas for improvement
- Participate in process improvement initiatives related to logistics coordination, shipping efficiency, system usage, and workflow accuracy
- Help document and follow standard operating procedures to support consistency, compliance, and operational efficiency
- Provide general operational support for day-to-day logistics and supply chain activities as assigned
Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Operations, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, shipping coordination, or operations support
- Strong understanding of transportation coordination, shipment tracking, inventory movement, and logistics documentation
- Experience working with ERP, WMS, shipping platforms, or inventory systems
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working in an on-site, hands-on environment and supporting both office and warehouse-related operations
- Experience in powersports, automotive, distribution, or a product-based business is an asset
