Located in the Pickering area, The Shandex Group is a leading distributor serving major retailers and private label manufacturers. Shandex specializes in distributing private‑label and branded products through its GMP and HACCP‑compliant distribution centers in Pickering, ON. Our facilities support both racked and bulk materials in a clean, well‑organized environment.
We are currently looking to onboard strong, qualified individuals to our afternoon or night shift.
Job Description
- Operate Raymond Reach forklifts to safely select products and materials from racks.
- Accurately pick products based on location codes on sales orders and properly package orders for shipment.
- Lift products weighing up to approximately 50 lbs.
- Assist with loading and unloading inbound/outbound shipments and put‑aways.
- Support general warehouse operations as needed.
Qualifications
- 1+ year recent Raymond Reach forklift experience in a distribution environment
- Experience using an RF scanner
- Self‑motivated team player able to handle multiple priorities
- Able to work with minimal supervision
- Able to frequently lift/move 40 lbs. and occasionally 50 lbs.
Shift Details
- Night Shift: 11:30PM – 8:00AM Sunday to Thursday
- Mandatory Training: Must be able to work Day Shift (7:30AM – 4:00PM) for the first 1–2 weeks for onboarding, certification checks, and systems training
- After training, you will transition to your permanent schedule
