Salary Range: $63,347 to $116,190 (range based on length of service and qualifications in accordance to the collective agreement)
Effective Date: September 28, 2026, until not later than May 28, 2027

Required Abilities, Qualifications and Experience:
Please Note: The “Learning Services” Relief Teachers will travel as a cohort, teaching classes of students while the regular classroom teachers collaborate on student learning.
- valid BC professional teaching certificate (BCCT)

extensive academic training, professional preparation and qualifications in teaching in all areas of this assignment

knowledge of, and demonstrated application of the Ministry of Education's current philosophy, teaching practices, and evaluation/assessment/reporting procedures as applied to multiple levels of instruction

demonstrated knowledge of curriculum and instruction at all grade levels

demonstrated ability to work closely with staff in a team-oriented approach to teaching with evidence of strong organizational, communication and classroom management skills

demonstrated ability to design and deliver engaging, impactful lessons

demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with students and parents

demonstrated ability to be flexible and to adapt to a variety of classroom assignments, ranging from K to 12

demonstrated commitment to, and engagement in, ongoing professional development

demonstrated strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
