Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating and programming CNC machinery including milling machines, CNC Plasma table and press brake equipment. This role requires mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings. The CNC Machinist will be responsible for setting up, programming, and maintaining precision parts to meet quality standards while adhering to safety protocols. Candidates with background in CAD, SolidWorks, and manufacturing processes will thrive in this position.
Responsibilities
- Operate CNC machines such as CNC milling machines, and press brake machines with precision and efficiency
- Program CNC equipment using Haas controls and other relevant software
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files to produce accurate components
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC machinery and troubleshoot issues promptly
- Use hand tools, calipers, and other measuring instruments to ensure parts meet specifications
- Conduct quality control inspections throughout the machining process to maintain high standards
- Assist with assembly, deburring , or packaging tasks as needed within the manufacturing workflow
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety regulations
- Operate forklifts when necessary for material handling within the warehouse or production areas
Skills
- Proficiency in CNC programming and operation of CNC milling machines and any other CNC machines
- Experience with Haas machines
- Knowledge of CAD software such as SolidWorks for part design and modifications
- Ability to read blueprints accurately and interpret technical specifications
- Mechanical knowledge related to machining processes, welding, press brake operations, and assembly techniques
- Familiarity with hand tools, calipers, basic math skills for measurements, and quality control procedures
- Warehouse experience including forklift operation is a plus
- Strong understanding of manufacturing safety protocols and quality standards
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
