We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Dog Handler to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about working with animals and capable of managing dogs in various settings. This role involves ensuring the safety, well-being, and proper training of dogs while providing excellent customer service to clients. The Dog Handler will play a vital part in maintaining a positive environment for both the animals and their owners.
Responsibilities
- Safely handle and control dogs during training, walks, and other activities
- Assist with dog grooming, feeding, and basic health checks as needed
- Monitor dog behavior to identify signs of stress or discomfort
- Maintain clean and safe facilities for animals and staff
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client questions and concerns
- Assist in training sessions by following established protocols and instructions
- Handle heavy lifting when necessary, such as moving supplies or equipment
- Ensure all safety procedures are followed to prevent accidents or injuries
Requirements
- Previous experience working with dogs or animals is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients and team members
- Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely and efficiently
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods
- Responsible, reliable, and attentive to detail
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and outdoor environments
- Must be at least 18 years old and able to pass any required background checks or screenings
