PART-TIME EVENT CREW – VICTORIA, BC
Vancouver Island Chiavari Chairs is a growing event rental company serving weddings, corporate events, galas, staff parties, and special events throughout Vancouver Island.
We are currently looking for reliable and motivated team members to assist with event deliveries, setups, and takedowns. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for flexible weekend work and extra income.
Responsibilities:
- Loading and unloading chairs and event equipment
- Delivery assistance
- Chair setup and takedown at event venues
- Returning inventory to storage after events
- Assisting with general event logistics
Requirements:
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License preferred
- Ability to lift and move chairs and equipment
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Comfortable working mornings, evenings, and occasional late-night shifts
- Weekend availability required
- Previous event or moving experience is an asset
Compensation:
- $25 per hour
- Minimum 3-hour paid shift
- Flexible scheduling based on event bookings
This position has the potential to grow into a lead-hand role for the right candidate as we continue expanding our Vancouver Island operations.
