Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchenware, dishes, and utensils to ensure smooth restaurant operations. This role is essential in supporting the overall food service experience and maintaining high standards of hygiene. Prior experience in food service or hospitality is a plus but not required, as training will be provided. The Dishwasher plays a vital role in supporting kitchen staff and ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests.
Duties
- Wash, sanitize, and dry dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using appropriate cleaning methods.
- Clean the entire building before opening hours
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all items are stored properly after cleaning.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including organizing supplies and restocking dishware.
- Support kitchen staff by handling food handling responsibilities safely and efficiently.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to uphold sanitation standards within the kitchen area.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy hours.
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies need replenishing.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with cleaning procedures and food handling practices is advantageous.
- Experience with food preparation or cooking can be beneficial but is not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to work efficiently in a team setting are essential qualities for success in this role.
