Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Food Service Team Member to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing food items, handling transactions, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and standards
- Operate POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
- Greet customers, take orders, and serve food in a courteous manner
- Manage cashier duties including processing payments accurately and upselling menu items
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment in compliance with food safety regulations
- Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed at all times
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
- Provide exceptional customer service to enhance guest experience and address any inquiries or concerns promptly
- Support team members during busy hours to ensure efficient service delivery
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or food industry preferred but not required
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic math calculations
- Understanding of food safety standards and sanitation practices
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during peak hours
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Kitchen experience or food preparation skills are advantageous
- Capable of standing for extended periods and performing physical tasks such as lifting or moving supplies as needed
- Reliable with a positive work ethic and team-oriented mindset
Pay: $15.00-$16.00 per hour
