Staff Plus is hiring for an experienced Material Handler/Forklift operator(Raymond Reach & Walkie for our client in Mississauga for the day shift. Responsible for moving material back and forth between departments.
Working Hours:
Days: Monday- Friday 7:00am to 3:00pm
Pay rate : $20.00/per hr
Job Description:
- Operating Pallet Jack
- Moving materials back and forth between departments
- Material Handling
- Operating the Raymond Reach occasionally
- Operating Walkie
- Lifting up to 50lb
- Report any quality issues, damaged or defective materials.
- Handle medium-to-heavy materials intermittently.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Able to lift up to 50lbs; may work in hot areas 5%, noise 0%.
- Ensure adherence to Health and Safety as well as active participation in 5S activities in work area.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience
- 1 – 2 years of experience in material handling
- 1-2 years Raymond Reach expericne
- Self-starter/ self-directed working aptitude
- Demonstrated dexterity and ability to understand simple to complex assemblies
- A “do whatever it takes” attitude
- Ability to lift loads up to 50lbs (assisted as needed)
- Physical ability to move skids, boxes and other material
- Medium to highly detail-oriented#MDSP
