We are currently seeking a detail-oriented, coachable, and organized LMIA Specialist Assistant to provide administrative support in the preparation and processing of Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) applications and related immigration matters.
The successful candidate must have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to learn and follow instructions carefully. This role is ideal for someone who is reliable, professional, highly organized, and able to handle confidential information with care.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation, organization, and review of LMIA application documents;
- Collect, organize, and maintain employer and client records;
- Follow up with employers and clients regarding missing information and required documents;
- Assist in completing forms, checklists, and internal file notes;
- Prepare draft correspondence, emails, and administrative documents;
- Maintain accurate and updated electronic and physical files;
- Perform data entry and update client information in the company’s case management system;
- Monitor deadlines, document expiry dates, and file progress;
- Assist with job posting records, recruitment documents, and supporting employer information;
- Provide general administrative support to the LMIA Specialist and office team as needed; and
- Ensure all information and documents are handled with strict confidentiality.

Qualifications:
- Previous administrative experience is an asset;
- Experience in immigration, LMIA, recruitment, or legal/office administration is an advantage but not required;
- Proficiency with email, Microsoft Office, PDF tools, and online forms;
- Ability to manage deadlines and organize files properly; and
- Willingness to learn Canadian immigration and LMIA-related administrative procedures.
Pay: $16.00-$18.00 per hour
