Responsibilities

Support the development and enhancement of procurement procedures in line with government and trade requirements.

Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and standardization across procurement activities.

Collaborate with legal teams to ensure compliance and proper documentation in procurement transactions.

Create and refine procurement templates, workflows, evaluation tools, and timelines.

Manage and update procurement tracking systems, monitor expiry dates, and coordinate renewals.

Engage and educate internal stakeholders on procurement policies and best practices.

Support supplier relationship management, review proposals, and assist with strategic sourcing initiatives.

Act as a liaison between legal teams and internal divisions to support contract finalization and compliance.
Qualifications
-
8 to 10 years of procurement or supply chain experience, with expertise in advisory support, policy interpretation, tendering, and process improvement.

Strong working knowledge of GOA procurement requirements, Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA), and New West Partnership Trade Agreement (NWPTA).

Excellent communication, facilitation, and influencing skills.

Proficiency in Word and Excel for developing templates, tools, and reports.

Experience in a decentralized procurement environment is an asset.

Supply chain designation (SCMP, CPSM, CIPS, etc.) is highly beneficial.

Educational background in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related fields preferred.
