Kingston United Soccer Club (KUSC) is looking for someone with a passion for youth sports to join our team. As a National Youth Club License holder, KUSC is committed to providing high-quality soccer programs in a safe and healthy environment for players of all abilities. We’re united by our dedication to the development of better players, coaches and officials so everyone can achieve their potential whether at the recreational, development, competitive, or high-performance level in the Ontario Player Development League (OPDL).
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manages the day-to-day administrative operations to support club programming.
- Coordinates with technical staff to determine indoor and outdoor facility needs.
- Book indoor and outdoor facilities for club programs and events; apply for city permits as needed.
- Develops field/facility schedules in cooperation with technical staff.
- Communicates program information to club membership.
- Acts as the club liaison to local and provincial leagues including SOSA, EOSL and the OPDL.
- Attends meetings with local and regional leagues and the City of Kingston as needed.
- Helps coordinate club competitive and recreational tournaments and festivals.
- Communicates administrative information to competitive coaches and staff.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor degree in Sports Management, Business Management or a related field.
- Experience in sports program administration is an asset.
- Project management or event planning experience is an asset.
- Strong organizational skills required.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Police vulnerable sector check.
