Job Summary

Duties
- Prepare and assemble sushi dishes with attention to detail, presentation, and authenticity
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as slicing fish, preparing rice, and assembling ingredients for various menu items
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sushi station and kitchen area in compliance with food safety standards
- Support the kitchen team during busy service hours by efficiently cooking and plating meals
- Serve customers with a friendly attitude, providing excellent food service experience
- Follow all food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality standards are upheld
- Contribute to inventory management by monitoring supplies and communicating needs to management
Requirements
- Proven experience in food service, restaurant kitchens, or the food industry, especially in sushi preparation or line cooking
- Strong knowledge of food handling, safety protocols, and sanitation practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Experience with meal preparation, cooking techniques, and food presentation
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment used in sushi making and general cooking tasks
- A positive attitude, team-oriented mindset, and willingness to learn new skills
