Position Summary:
You will be responsible for providing prompt, accurate, and courteous support services to clients and co-workers. This role involves handling Motor Vehicle transactions as well as managing telephone and reception duties either face-to-face, over the telephone, or electronically.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Motor License Transactions:
· Assist customers with plate renewals and cancellations, driver’s license renewals, assigning customer numbers, issuing photo IDs, and explaining the Safe Driver Recognition program.
· Handle reciprocity for driver’s licenses from out of province/country, explain plate coverage provided by the Saskatchewan Auto Fund, collect payments, and handle outstanding Auto Fund receivables.
· Provide drivers abstracts and other required transactions.
2. Extension Auto Coverage:
· Provide quotes, explain coverage, make recommendations, place coverage, and make changes using an automated broker management and rating system.
· Verify accuracy, issue binders, summaries, certificates, policies, endorsements, and other related items.
· Bind new policies, make changes to existing policies, and apply payments to direct bill policies using company portals.
· Assist customers with reporting auto claims to the appropriate insurance company and support clients throughout the claim process as required.
3. Reception Duties:
· Answer and direct incoming phone calls, reply to customer inquiries via email, and document all communication and activity with clients in the broker management system.
· Process incoming payments, issue receipts, balance and create daily deposits.
4. Embrace Technology:
· Utilize company portals, e-signature, electronic applications/forms, and other available technology to its fullest advantage.
