Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Restaurant Staff to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing excellent customer service, ensuring food quality and safety, and maintaining a clean and efficient dining environment. Ideal candidates will have a passion for the food industry, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting. Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided to ensure success in this role.
Open availability for weekends and evenings is must!
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and standards
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
- Provide friendly and attentive customer service to enhance guest experience
- Manage cashier duties, including processing payments accurately and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment in compliance with food safety standards
- Assist with food handling, portioning, and presentation to ensure quality standards are met
- Upsell menu items to increase sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly
- Follow all sanitation procedures and safety protocols in accordance with health regulations
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or the food industry is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and inventory management
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Experience with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus
- Kitchen experience or food preparation skills are advantageous but not required
- Ability to handle food safely and responsibly at all times
